This experience is available in both Italian and English. We look forward to seeing you at Panzanello!
To offer you a high-level culinary experience we have selected five wines of our production: Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Riserva, Super Tuscan, rosé and bubbles. The perfect balance for a complete food and wine journey.
Each dish is chosen to complement and make the taste of the wines even more intense: from the rich local appetizers to the Tuscan specialties - such as lasagna with ragù or ribollita - to the second course of pork loin with side dishes and cheeses.
Lunch at Panzanello is an invitation to immerse yourself in the beauty of the Chianti hills. It is an opportunity to discover our history, our cellars and our wines, but above all to taste the best of typical Tuscan cuisine.
We will answer you personally to better organize your visit!
In Panzanello, every step respects nature and enhances the territory.
Organic farming is our choice to preserve the balance of the land and offer wines that tell the story of Chianti.
A commitment that looks to the future, without forgetting its roots.
The Complete Lunch at Panzanello includes a 4-course menu prepared with fresh and seasonal ingredients. The gastronomic experience begins with an appetizer of vegetarian bruschetta and bruschetta with Inis Extra Virgin Olive Oil , followed by a seasonal first course such as traditional lasagna with ragù or Tuscan ribollita. The second course is meat-based with a side dish and ends with cantuccini or a house dessert. All dishes are paired with 5 different wines from our production, including the 1427 Chianti Classico with its characteristic aroma of fresh cherry and violet, and the Manuzio Supertuscan , a pure Merlot with notes of blackberry and ripe plum.
Absolutely! When booking your Complete Lunch at Panzanello , you can communicate any food intolerances or dietary preferences. We offer vegetarian alternatives for those who do not consume meat, replacing the second course with dishes based on seasonal vegetables grown locally. For guests who want to further explore Tuscan cuisine, we also recommend our Cooking Class , where you can learn to prepare typical dishes from appetizer to dessert. If you prefer a lighter experience, we also have the tasting with Gran Tagliere that includes local cured meats and cheeses paired with our organic wines .
During the Complete Lunch at Panzanello and Cellar Visit you will have the opportunity to taste 5 different wines of our production, carefully paired with the courses. You can taste the Panzanello Chianti Classico (100% Sangiovese), the Chianti Classico Riserva 1427 with 18 months of aging in barrique, our Error 404 Rosato from Sangiovese grapes, the Goccia Brut bubbles and, depending on the season, you can also taste the limited edition Giubileo 2025 (about 3000 bottles), a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot with notes of cherry and small red fruits.

The cellar tour included in the Full Lunch at Panzanello offers a complete immersion in the history and winemaking processes of the estate. Andrea Sommaruga or a member of his staff will guide you through the cellar, explaining the production techniques that date back to 1427, when Franciesco Ciucci D'Ugolino introduced innovative methods of grape selection. You will discover how the Sommaruga family, since 1964, has transformed the estate into a certified organic company with 90 hectares of land. The visit includes an explanation of the fermentation, aging and bottling processes. If you want a shorter wine experience, you can opt for the Wine and Oil Tasting or the Tour and Wine Tasting at €36 per person.
Since 1997, Andrea and Ioletta have been carrying on a story of passion and commitment in Panzanello.
Andrea dedicates himself with care to the cultivation of the vineyards and the production of wines of unique character, while Ioletta, who moved from Rome, takes care of hospitality and relations with visitors from all over the world.
