Absolutely! The Cooking Class in Chianti can be customized to meet any dietary needs. It is important to communicate any intolerances (such as lactose or gluten) or dietary preferences (vegetarian, vegan) at the time of booking. Our team will adapt the recipes while maintaining the authenticity of Tuscan cuisine, using alternative high-quality ingredients. For example, we can prepare fresh pasta without eggs or gluten, and offer second courses that are vegetarian instead of meat-based. After the class, you can taste different types of Tuscan red wines and our Error 404 Rosato , produced with pure Sangiovese, perfect to accompany even light vegetarian dishes.
The winery tour included in the Cooking Class will take you to discover the winemaking processes of Panzanello, from the vineyard to the bottle. You will visit the vineyards (weather permitting) and the historic cellar, where Andrea Sommaruga or a member of his staff will explain the winemaking techniques used since 1427, when Franciesco Ciucci D'Ugolino introduced innovative methods of grape selection. You will discover how wines such as the Manuzio Supertuscan , a pure Merlot aged 24 months in barrique, are produced and you will also discover the limited edition Giubileo 2025 (about 3000 bottles). If you are interested in deepening your knowledge of Chianti wines, you can also book the Wine and Oil Tasting or the Tour and Wine Tasting on different days.
