Panzanello wines stand out for their authenticity and superior quality, the result of certified organic production since 1998. Our selection ranges from classic Chianti Classico DOCG , such as the renowned 1427 Chianti Classico , to prestigious Supertuscan IGT such as Manuzio . We also offer lighter options such as the Error 404 rosé and the Goccia BRUT bubbles . Each bottle expresses the rich winemaking history of our estate, the excellence of the Tuscan terroir and the balance between acidity, structure and characteristic aromas of the Sangiovese grown on our hills.

Each wine in the Panzanello collection lends itself to specific gastronomic pairings. The Panzanello Chianti Classico , fresh and fruity, is perfect with Tuscan first courses, white meats and fresh pecorino cheese. The 1427 Chianti Classico Riserva , more complex and structured, pairs magnificently with Florentine steak, braised meats and mature cheeses. The Manuzio Supertuscan , powerful and elegant, is ideal with game and dishes rich in flavour. For aperitifs and light dishes, we recommend the Error 404 rosé or the Goccia bubbles . Don't forget our agriturismo , where you can taste typical Tuscan dishes accompanied by our wines.
What is the history and meaning of the wine "1427" in the Panzanello collection?
The name "1427" of our most prestigious wines commemorates the year the Panzanello estate was founded, marking almost six centuries of winemaking tradition in the heart of Chianti Classico . In 1436, Franciesco Ciucci D'Ugolino introduced innovative grape selection techniques that still inspire our winemaking method today. 1427 Chianti Classico and 1427 Chianti Classico Riserva represent the essence of this historical legacy. Since 1964, the Sommaruga family has modernized and expanded the estate , converting it to organic in 1998. Today, Andrea and Ioletta Sommaruga continue this tradition, producing wines that tell the story of the territory through environmentally friendly methods and faithful to ancient Tuscan techniques.
