In 1436, Franciesco Ciucci D'Ugolino introduced innovative grape selection techniques that still inspire our winemaking method today. 1427 Chianti Classico and 1427 Chianti Classico Riserva represent the essence of this historical legacy. Since 1964, the Sommaruga family has modernized and expanded the estate , converting it to organic in 1998.
